Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Must be US citizen or Green Card holder
  • Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in computer science or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge in interface engines, HL7 scripting, and one or more programming languages
  • Experience with healthcare interoperability and messaging standards, including but not limited to, HL7 2.x, HL7 3.x, HL7 FHIR, CCDA, and X12 HIPAA transactions and code sets
  • Experience with interface engines like Mirth Connect
  • Solid understanding of web technologies like JavaScript
  • SQL programming skills with MS SQL
  • Experience with Agile software development practices desired
  • Knowledge of healthcare EMR and/or physician practice management systems desired

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain interfaces between company clients’ third-party systems
  • Resolve interface communications issues
  • Perform message analysis and trace to identify anomalies in the data
  • Maintain and document integration workflows, routes and communication port configurations, and scripts to ensure proper versioning and control of upgrades
  • Monitor all production interfaces and react to issues accordingly
  • Own troubleshooting and repair of integration support issues in production systems
  • Respond to issues related to HL7 orders, ADT, ORM, ORU, DFT, results, or other transactions
  • Design and develop robotic processing automation (RPM)
