Job Description


  • Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 6 years of experience:
    • Facilitating and leading groups to resolve problems and achieve results
    • Working with both technical and non-technical help desk or call center teams, technology owners, application areas, and/or other support teams
    • Facilitating and leading groups to resolve problems and achieve results
    • Quickly assessing critical situations, making appropriate decisions, and driving resolution
    • Identifying resource needs and escalating functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately
    • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills, and detail oriented
    • Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate with all levels up to and including executive management
    • Demonstrating effective organizational and leadership skills in a team environment
  • Work on call as needed


  • Provide oversight for all critical incidents (S1/S2)
  • Manage the incident management process to ensure expedient return to service
  • Communicate the status to all involved parties via email, phone, or in person
  • Coordinate support from the various IT teams to determine most time effective manner of correction or completion
  • Prioritize necessary actions and ensure all parties remain on task
  • Facilitate meetings and track all activities impacting the resolution of the Red Alert
  • Organize and maintain appropriate documentation throughout each effort
  • Provide executive status summaries to IT senior management and CIO
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of process improvements, clarification, strategic efforts, and action plans related to critical business processes and/or customer-related requirements
  • Participate in process evaluation that results from new business implementation, large system, hardware, or software changes, and other IT services that impact the incident management process
