Job Description


  • Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 4 years of leading experience, including leading multiple concurrent project and teams of individuals
  • 4 years of software development application project management experience
  • 4 years of negotiation skills
  • 4 years of demonstrated leadership team/projects experience
  • 2 years of experience producing technical and non-technical documents
  • 2 years of experience:
    • MS Word
    • MS Excel
    • MS Project
  • PMP experience is preferred


  • Develop and monitor project plans, risk management plans, and project documentation from scope to post implementation
  • Ensure project documentation and deliverables are complete, on budget, within scope, and in accordance with standards
  • Identify items that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort
  • Monitor resource requirements based on project specifications
  • Ensure resources are assigned to meet project objectives while managing project hours budgeted
  • Develop, execute, and maintain project communications
  • Facilitate effective communications between all parties involved in the project and/or work efforts (meetings, correspondence, status reports, and other documentation)
  • Identify the impact of issues arising from the work efforts and/or resource requirements
  • Manage the project issues throughout the project life cycle
  • Communicate the implications of changes to the project scope with senior management and other appropriate parties
  • Ensure all work efforts have appropriate documentation for audit purposes utilizing project methodology standards
  • Coach, develop, and mentor other team members
  • Provide guidance and leadership to staff pertaining to training and department initiatives
  • Provide oversight for a group of work efforts as requested
  • Perform peer reviews of project artifacts
