Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer without current or future sponsorship
  • Must have 3 years (Level II) or 5+ years (Level III) of hands-on experience supporting network and desktop technology comprised of the following technologies:
    • Industry standard PC and workstation hardware Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8 OS
    • Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008, and 2012 OS
    • Active Directory
    • Exchange Server (2003 – most current)
    • Cloud-based services, including Office 365, Intune, Box.com, etc.
    • VMware and Hyper-V hosts
    • Windows Remote Desktop Server and Terminal Server
    • Brand name server hardware, including HP and Dell
    • SAN and NAS products
    • Enterprise backup technology
    • Enterprise antivirus and malware protection solutions
    • Ethernet backbone devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls
    • Remote Desktop Services, Remote Desktop Web Interface, XenApp, and XenDesktop are a plus
    • Azure AD
    • Implementation or migration of O365 (not just support)
    • Experience imaging machines preferred
  • BS or AS degree preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a personal service ticket queue, prioritize assignments with the team/service coordinator, and document tickets and time appropriately
  • Support clients, predominately via phone and email (remotely), and ability to provide onsite support for complex issues or as needed for customer requirements
  • Use remote control and system monitoring software
  • Provide root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues
  • Relay escalations appropriately to other project teams or more senior engineers
  • Research knowledge base repositories for technical solutions and configurations
  • Work within the framework of the managed IT department service desk and customer service processes
  • Provide best-in-class customer service
  • Support special projects, leadership, customers, and teammates as needed to get the job done
  • Stay abreast of technology trends and development; always be learning and challenge the status quo

Location: Charleston, SC — Will be a hybrid schedule of onsite and remote work
