Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Must have a strong background in a wide range of Windows and Linux operating systems and networking, as well as query and stored procedure experience in SQL Server and Oracle
  • Education and/or experience in one or more of the following will be a plus:
    • LDAP
    • Kerberos
    • Scripting languages
    • Database maintenance
    • Web application security

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve issues reported by licensees and product users
  • Provide daily customer service and resolve customer problems
  • Use excellent communication skills in the process of working in the team environment on a company-wide basis
  • Learn and master the installation, use, and administration of the DocFinity software product suite
  • Learn and master the use of and administration of products developed by business partners and used with the DocFinity software product suite
  • Learn and master the techniques and methods to troubleshoot bugs, issues, and problems within the DocFinity software product suite
  • Work with partners to resolve issues with conflicting software configuration
  • Create computer network and database environments to duplicate customer environments for issue troubleshooting
  • Test company software when customers have issues with specific scenarios
  • Follow each issue through to resolution
  • Support professional services staff in the design and implementation efforts of customers in the project phase of support, which include back office or direct consulting with the customer or professional services staff
  • Design, develop, and implement various utilities to support customers
  • Formulate and document procedures to aid future troubleshooting
  • Advise development on problems and potential problems that can be eliminated through modifications in the software design
  • Prioritize work and multitask to meet deadlines
