Location: Cleveland, OH
Must be local to Cleveland, OH — Schedule will be a hybrid with 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of network administration experience (Novell, NT/- emulation, and TCP/IP, IPX)
  • MCSE certified a plus
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced/quickly changing environment
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communications skills both verbally and in writing
  • Strong nterpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of the organization and user community
  • Team player and self-motivated
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks without significant supervision

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing, developing, coaching and leading a team of network administrators, and analysts
  • Provide customer service to associates involving installation and configuration of PC hardware, software and maintenance
  • Install and configure network hardware and software (servers, switches, routers)
  • Troubleshoot and diagnosis Novell network, NT network, and telecommunications equipment
  • Assist in budget management and in drafting financial plans throughout the year; participate in budget discussions/decisions with management
  • Responsible for taking escalated trouble calls from the help desk and working them to resolution
  • Manage all network administrative tasks relating to user adds/moves/changes, including user network access
  • Monitor network and application performance and provide reports and recommendations to upper management
  • Maintain all network documentation for the desktops, servers, and all network gear
  • Responds to on-call periods (pager) based on department policies and procedures
  • Manages the day-to-day activities of assigned staff of network administrators and network analyst, which includes hiring, training, assigning workload, tracking activities and projects, and reporting status
  • Conduct mid-/end-of-year performance reviews for all subordinates
  • Create and implement policies and procedures for all desktop support
  • Create and implement policies and procedures for all desktop support; coordinate and implement policies and procedures for all network support
  • Guarantee customer satisfaction by coordinating with other support group managers to ensure a smooth workflow
  • Coordinate equipment and software purchasing
  • Coordinate daily activities with help desk to ensure customer needs are met
