Job Description

Qualifications:

  • This job does require COVID-19 vaccination to comply with Executive Order 14042
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or other job-related degree OR equivalent work experience
  • 4 years of applications development experience
  • 1 year of experience with
    • Camunda BPA modeling
    • Java and Java Security – Java SE 8, Java EE 1.5+ (same as J2EE)
    • Oracle SQL developer
    • SOAP/REST Web Services
    • App dev web developer
    • JSP; JSTL (Java Server Pages Standard Tag Library)
    • Spring Framework 5.0; Hibernate 5.0; Bootstrap 4.0; Spring Boot 2.3
    • JUnit or TestNG

Preferred:

  • Experience with:
    • React
    • Formal Agile with Scrum
    • DevOps tools, including Artifactory, SonarQube, Selenium, Urban Code Deploy, Jenkins, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure team members understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions, organizational standards are maintained, and applications are delivered according to project timeliness
  • Provide expert system knowledge, perform research, attend meetings, and review documents
  • Maintain and modify programs according to specifications
  • Code, compile, and implement application software that is delivered on time and within budget
  • Evaluate basic interrelationships in immediate programming area to determine how changes in one program will affect another related area
  • Test modified programs, create necessary test files and data, verify logic, debug, and write relevant documentation
  • Analyze production systems, recommend systems enhancements, and provide instruction to production support team
  • Research customer issues and determine appropriate resolutions
  • Coordinate implementation of modifications or enhancements
  • Analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems
  • Develop functional design and technical specifications, concept diagrams, and workflow diagrams and related procedures to process data using appropriate systems environment/platform
  • Document programs/procedures

Location: Hybrid — Will require some onsite work in Columbia, SC.
