Job Description


  • This job does require COVID-19 vaccination to comply with Executive Order 14042
  • Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship
  • Associate degree in computer science, information technology, or job-related field or 2 year certification from an approved vendor or tech institute OR extra 2 years of technical operations support experience or other job-related work experience
  • 2 years of technical operations support experience specific to PC deployment
  • A+ certification
  • Must have good driving record
  • Must be able to transport items up to 30 pounds
  • Must be able to work overtime and possibly weekends as needed


  • Configures, installs, monitors, and maintains IT users’ workstation software and hardware
  • Ensures proper backing up of data from user workstations
  • Provides troubleshooting, technical support, and guidance to end users and less experienced personnel
  • Develops end-user guidelines
  • Tests and validates application packages
  • Troubleshoots, maintains, modifies, and documents application packages
  • Documents configurations and standards so that other staff can reference similar issues and improve resolution time
  • Assists other departments as needed to resolve issues
  • Keeps apprised of new technologies related to workstation support procedures
  • Completes project work and reporting tasks
  • Performs incoming work ticket dispatching/work queue monitoring
  • Keeps up with surplus or inventory and other administrative tasks
