Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or other job-related degree, or 4 years of job-related work experience OR 2 years of job-related experience plus an associate degree in computer science, business administration, or other job-related degree minimum required work experience
  • 6 years of IT business analysis experience
  • Strong Agile and Scrum experience
  • MS Project experience
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must have extensive experience writing user stories with acceptance criteria
  • Must work well with customers and developers in a Scrum environment with 2-week sprints
  • Understands our need to get working software to production quickly

Preferred:

  • Familiar with SQL
  • Scrum Master or Product Owner certification

Responsibilities:

  • Define customer needs in technical and business contexts
  • Ensure the proposed technical and business solutions meet the customer’s objectives for the work effort
  • Provide guidance with planning and prioritization of business analysis activities in support of large project and support efforts
  • Elicit and document user requirements to meet a business objective
  • Identify and validate requirements and organize the information into a logical document using business analysis models that is understood by the customer and information systems
