IBM Licensing SME

We’re looking for an IBM Licensing SME that will be responsible for IBM licensing in a mainframe environment. We would like someone who enjoys multitasking and meeting deadlines. The candidate will use their knowledge of IBM licensing and contracts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 3 years of experience in software licensing, software auditing, and/or software asset management
• Knowledge of BigFix inventory as it relates to managing, tracking, and auditing IBM software licenses
• Proficient in Excel, PPT, Adobe, and Word

Preferred:

• Experience with multi-tenant environments
• Experience with Passport Advantage software licensing
• Understanding of the IBM software maintenance and programs supporting IBM hardware

Responsibilities:

• Lead data collection and data analysis activities to create IBM Effective License Positions (ELPs)
• Lead self-audits, audit support, software asset management tool, and process reviews
• Use SAM and ServiceNow SAM Pro manage IBM licenses.
• Prepare and provide related training material to appropriate staff
