Job Description

We’re looking for an Corporate Compensation Associate Manager for an opportunity in Hartsville, SC. Must have experience with incentive plan design and calculations, be a strong analytical thinker, and able to work independently. Five years of experience in corporate compensation is preferred.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and manage dedicated resources that specialize in incentive plan design, modelling, plan communications, and the calculation of performance-based incentives
  • Centralization and Standardization of all US performance-based incentives plans
  • Manage strategic communications for variable compensation
  • Strategize with divisions to design incentive plans (sales incentives, supervisor incentives, hourly incentives, annual incentive plans)
  • Establish corporate variable compensation philosophy for salaried and hourly employees
  • Keep abreast to all legislative and regulatory changes as they relate to variable compensation and suggest recommended changes as applicable
  • Review current practices and policies to identify compliance risks and manage implementation and documentation of changes
  • Manage governance of existing structure
  • Set guidelines and ensures compliance
  • Track exceptions and approvals
  • Streamline programs to ensure alignment and execution
  • Manage broad-based projects, which may include market competitiveness review, impact of variable compensation on retention, and incentive plan redesigns
  • Build productive and positive relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on initiatives
  • Develop a mechanism to track the effectiveness of the incentive plans
  • Perform compensation modeling and cost analysis reporting
