Job Description

*This is a third shift role in Ladsen, SC.*


  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited school and 3 years of information technology experience on relevant equipment and systems OR associate degree in computer science or information technology with one year of information technology experience on relevant equipment and systems
  • Must be able to work third shift
  • 3 years of experience in information technology
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Cisco network, Cisco UCS, and Cisco collaboration infrastructure
    • Storage area network (SAN) technologies
    • Data backup technologies
    • Virtual infrastructure environments
    • Data center environments
    • Inside plant cabling
    • Infrastructure monitoring applications
  • Working knowledge of hyper-converged infrastructure
  • Working knowledge of Citrix technology and applications
  • Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (SaaS, PaaS & IaaS)
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to author technical documents and create procedure manuals
  • Strong interpersonal skills, oral communication skills, and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
  • Ability to conduct research into current and future technologies
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
  • Healthcare knowledge/background including data privacy practices and laws
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • On-call availability 7/24 as part of a rotation schedule


  • 2 CompTIA core competency certifications or must be complete within 90 days of employment: Fundamentals, A+, Network+ or Security+ OR Equivalent or higher-level certifications as determined by the manager may be substituted for the CompTIA core certification


  • Operates, monitors, measures, and attains data center’s service level commitments and maintain facility appearance and integrity, especially during assigned shift
  • Provides assistance to customers and projects, supports the Helpdesk area, answering calls from users, and assists in problem solving user issues
  • Documents work in the form of policies, procedures, standards, and knowledge base articles
  • Ensures solutions are delivered in adherence of defined standards and policy
  • Leads technical projects as well as provide guidance to teammates as needed to ensure quality and delivery of work
  • Works both independently and with various teams
