EDI Operations Associate

Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship
• Associate degree in information systems/technology, computer science, or other job-related field OR 2 years of technical operations support experience or other applicable experience
• 2 years of applicable EDI experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Experience with code sets, graphing, Excel, databases, and insurance required
• Experience with insurance claims, eligibility, and membership preferred
• Experience with different healthcare electronic transactions/formats
• Working knowledge of relevant EDI software and tools
• Good system research and analysis skills
• Good organizational, judgment, customer service, and both verbal and written communication skills
• Good spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion

Preferred:

• Experience with DB2 preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:

• Provide first and second level technical support to a variety of customers comprising the submitter community, as well as basic internal support via analysis and research into EDI-related issues as required by business contracts
• Review/analyze electronic transactions to identify trends and changes
• Work with existing analyst to evaluate impacts and address audit requests
