Job Description


  • 7 years of IT project management experience
  • 4 years of experience leading multiple concurrent project teams
  • Development experience in a matrix environment
  • Experience with designing, coding, testing, and implementing
  • Experience with delivering software development solutions and delivering software implements and software development to customers
  • Experience with auditing, budgeting, conflict management, correspondence, and documentation
  • Exceptional communications (verbal and written) skills with all levels of management and team members
  • Superior leadership skills in a team or project environment and exceptional problem-solving and conflict management/resolution skills
  • Highly effective analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent understanding of project management principles and methodologies, information systems, business processes, and the key drivers and measures of success for the business unit and the organization
  • Superior competency in management of resources to meet goals and multiple projects
  • Highly effective ability to lead multiple multidiscipline, high-performance work teams throughout project life cycle
  • Advanced ability to negotiate terms and scope of work documents
  • Advanced ability to prepare and present formal presentations to senior management
  • Proven effectiveness in conducting analysis of project triple constraints
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools
  • Agile experience preferred


  • Bachelor’s degree OR
  • 4 years of job-related work experience OR
  • 2 years of job-related experience plus an associate degree in any major


  • Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts
  • Responsible for multiple work efforts of any size, from minimum complexity system/customer impacts to greater complexity system/customer impact
  • Adheres to project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budgeted hours, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet expectations
  • Monitors project plans, assignments, and work efforts on a daily basis
  • Ensures resource needs are assigned appropriately and escalates functional, quality, and timeline issues
  • Tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans to meet the needs of work effort
  • Leads the project from inception to final business acceptance and implementation
  • Mentors other project leads and participates in the training and development of staff
  • Develops and monitors project plans, risk management plans, and project documentation from scope to post implementation
  • Ensures project documentation and deliverables are complete, on budget, within scope, and in accordance with standards
  • Identifies items that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort
  • Develops, executes, and maintains project communications and facilitates effective communications between all parties involved in the project and/or work efforts, which includes meetings, correspondence, status reports, and other documentation
  • Identifies the impact of issues arising from the work efforts and/or resource requirements
  • Communicates the implications of changes to the project scope with senior management and other appropriate parties
