Job Description

We’re currently hiring a Senior Project Manager for a hybrid role in Richmond, VA. Candidates will be required to work onsite 2 days during the week. If you’re looking for a new opportunity, apply today!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate vendors and consultants, and business staff as assigned, in the execution of business & IT projects and related procurements
  • Coordinate and oversee the development of proposals, statement of work, statement of requirements, and RFP responses
  • Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments and removing roadblocks to their work
  • Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness
  • Facilitate multi-disciplinary teams in the development of plans, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for completion of a project
  • Oversee and manage execution and/or coordination of day-to-day project activities as required

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience with:
    • Analyzing, organizing, problem solving, and decision making
    • Implementing new approaches, systems, structures, and methods
    • Understanding of software development life cycle models
    • Understanding technology at the level to help represent project team in multiple forums
    • Leading the business and IT resources through the discovery and documentation of business and technical requirements
    • AGILE and Waterfall project management principles and practices. In addition, the ability to blend them together
    • Leading large program with multiple workstreams
    • Working vendor and implementing vendor solutions.

Education/Certifications:

  • Active PMP certification (from PMI)

Location: Richmond, VA.

The salary range for this position is $135,000 – $150,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
