Job Description


  • Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship
  • Associate degree in computer science, information technology, or job-related degree OR equivalent work experience
  • A+ certification
  • Overtime and possible weekend work as needed


  • Configure, install, monitor, and maintain IT users’ workstation software and hardware
  • Ensure proper backing up of data from user workstations
  • Provide troubleshooting, technical support, and guidance to end users and less experienced personnel
  • Develop end-user guidelines
  • Test and validate application packages
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, modify, and document application packages
  • Document configurations and standards so that other staff can reference similar issues and improve resolution time
  • Assist other departments as needed to resolve issues
  • Keep apprised of new technologies related to workstation support procedures
  • Complete project work and reporting tasks
  • Perform incoming work ticket dispatching/work queue monitoring
  • Keep up with surplus or inventory and other administrative tasks
  • Routine transporting of items up to 30 lbs; transporting items up to 70 lbs on occasion
