Job Description


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT systems management, or related field, OR equivalent work experience
  • 7 years of experience in application development
  • 8 years of experience in .NET stack development
  • 5 years of experience with:
    • Oracle
    • Microsoft SQL Server
  • 2 years of experience with:
    • Microsoft release management
    • Developing web services
  • Experience with:
    • FIS ACBS preferred
    • Working in an Agile development environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft VB .NET, C#, .NET framework, .NET Core, and MVC
  • Proficient with JavaScript and jQuery
  • Proficient with SSIS, SSRS, and Crystal Reports
  • Proficient with Entity framework and Bootstrap
  • Proficient with T-SQL programming skills, including writing efficient stored procedures, database design and normalization, query optimization, and understanding execution plans
  • Proficient with Microsoft release management (TFS 2015 and TFS 2018) and proven ability to manage builds, releases, and pipelines
  • Proficient with web services development (REST and SOAP), web API, and microservices development
  • Proficient in problem analysis, debugging, and production maintenance of applications
  • Proficient in application design and application architecture
  • Expertise in support, design, and development of highly available business-critical applications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills


  • Experience with:
    • Leading small teams
    • Understanding or experience with financial applications
    • Supporting ACBS
    • Business Objects administration


  • Perform a variety of programming assignments by using standard development tools and methodologies
  • Build and maintain systems that meet stringent quality attributes such as performance and reliability
  • Understand and use design standards and guidelines for designing applications and software modules
  • Actively participate in analyzing functional requirements and identifying inaccuracies and inconsistencies
  • Work independently or as a team with business analyst to develop and clarify requirements
  • Work closely with customers and other stakeholders to design and implement business systems and upgrades
  • Provide timely and accurate corrective actions to production support issues for assigned applications
  • Apply software patches, request servers, and install upgrades for applications
  • Work across teams to solve production problems and issues
  • Study, analyze, recommend, and actively determine system needs and development
  • Be proactive in systems monitoring, process analysis and re-engineering
  • Formulate and make recommendations to management about solutions
