Cloud Network Security Engineer (Hybrid)

We're hiring a Cloud Network Security Engineer to join our team in Columbia, SC. This role offers a hybrid schedule.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in information security and engineering
• Cloud Security design, operations, and automation experience
• Experience designing and maintaining infrastructure in AWS/Azure
• Experience deploying, configuring and maintaining Cloud VM series Palo Alto firewalls in AWS and Azure
• Experience with F5 load balancing, InfoBlox, Forescout, and Prisma Cloud
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to write documentation of security tools, deployment configuration, incident reports, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure hybrid and multi-cloud network architectures (AWS, Azure)
• Manage firewalls across multiple environments in AWS and Azure
• Architect VPC/VNet segmentation, routing, and connectivity (hub-and-spoke, transit VPC/VNet)
• Integrate on-prem networks with cloud environments using VPN, Direct Connect, or ExpressRoute
• Define network standards, reference architectures, and security guardrails
• Design and maintain secure ingress/egress controls and east-west traffic inspection
• Implement network segmentation, micro-segmentation, and zero-trust principles

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Must hold AWS or Azure certification

Preferred Certifications:

• AWS Certified Cloud Solutions Architect
• PCNSA or PCNSE

The salary range for this position is $115,000 – $130,000.
