Sr. Java Developer (Onsite)

We’re looking for a Sr. Java Developer for an onsite role in Columbia, SC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle break/fixes and maintain applications
• Implement new development
• Offer management and higher-level recommendations for resolving issues and enhancements within budget and timeline
• Possess a complete understanding of the system life cycle
• Work collaboratively with front-end and back-end developers, business analysts, system testers, and the operations team

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship
• Strong Java knowledge
• Experience with:
  • Web Services including WSDL, SOAP, JAVA-RS, Spring Boot, and RESTful API
  • SonarQube/BlackDuck
  • SQL server and MySQL
  • Agility.ai and Scrum Agile methodology
• Knowledge of JSP and cross-site scripting (XSS)
• Understanding of Mutual Auth, JSON, CSS, AJAX, jQuery, HTML, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with Eclipse, NetBeans, SOAPUI, Apache, and GitHub

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree or 4 years of job-related work experience or 2 years of job-related experience plus an associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree

The hourly rate for this position is $69.23.
