Mainframe Developer (COBOL) (Onsite)

We’re looking for a Mainframe Developer (COBOL) for an onsite role in Columbia, SC.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship
• Experience with:
  • COBOL (Mainframe, Micro Focus), CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, IBM Batch JCL, Easytrieve, Client Code Generator, Vendor Pricing Software, MS Office, and EDz vendor product
  • Host NDM, FTP, VPN push/receive of files from UNIX server(s)
  • IBM Connect Direct
  • Mainframe Utilities (Syncsort, IDCAMS, IBM IEB, IEF utilities, FILEAID, and Zeke Scheduler)
• Knowledge of HIPAA X12 5010 transaction(s) processing
• Familiarity with healthcare claims data and file formats for commercial systems, EDIG systems, and TRICARE systems
• PIMS provider knowledge from the development of the original PIMS application

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with team on the host side with a small team of developers
• Collaborate closely with the team lead on direction and job assignment
• Interact with a non-host team and operations team
• Handle on-call responsibilities in addition to day-to-day tasks

The hourly rate for this position is $50.35.
