Micro Focus Cobol Developer (Hybrid)

We're hiring a  Micro Focus Cobol Developer to join our team in Columbia, SC. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with remote work up to one day a week unless project needs dictate otherwise.

Skills & Qualifications:

• No C2C, W-2 Only
• 8 years of development experience with Micro Focus Visual COBOL in Windows Server 2019/2022, batch, and under IIS
• 4 years of experience with:
  • Visual Studio 2019/2022, including the ability to use the debugger
  • Application programming against RDBMS (Oracle, SQL)

• Experience with Micro Focus COBOL version 7 and higher
• Ability to write complex queries using SQL for Oracle and MS SQL DB
• IIS configuration/setup
• Skilled in C# and .NET
• Microsoft Certification
• Micro Focus Certification

• Analyze the Web Service and batch business applications
• Take the lead in analyzing and troubleshooting assigned system problems
• Propose solutions
• Code, test, promote, and interact with impacted users, ensuring that the solution meets requirements
• Provide daily and weekly status to the development manager

• Bachelor's degree in information technology-related discipline with 8 years of experience or minimum 10 years related experience

The salary range for this position is $100,000 – $115,000.
