Senior Systems Programmer (Hybrid)

We're hiring a Senior Systems Programmer to join our team in Columbia, SC. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with onsite work required Tuesday through Thursday.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship
• 6 years of IT work experience, including varied systems programming experience
• Proficiency in JCL
• Mainframe/host experience
• Experience with IBM z/OS MQ mainframe
• Proven experience in creating and maintaining a queue manager and queues

Key Responsibilities:

• Resolve test and production issues that arise
• Work on customer requests such as creating new queues, queue managers, and changing queue depth
• Participate in projects ranging from installing the latest release of MQ to configuring MQ on servers
• Handle error reports and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Perform internal monitoring, including checking queue depth

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field; or 4 years of job-related work experience

The hourly rate for this position is $49.12.
